CROP Walk

Fullerton continues over 20 years of tradition with this year’s record-breaking CROP Walk. Citizens of all ages, representing many groups and organizations, walked together to raise awareness and money to fight hunger. As of the end of the walk, over $76,000 had been raised. Walk organizers hope that online donations will continue to come in. Learn more about CROP Walk at www.cropwalk.org



Psychedelic, man….

Flower power and far out cool things took over the Fullerton Museum Center with the opening of its
new exhibit, Technicolor Dreaming: Psychedelic Posters from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.  Museum members attending the opening reception were treated to music by Aquarius and a tour by Curator Richard Smith. Black light artist Adam Slater also made a presentation to the glasses-wearing tripped-out crowd.

Technicolor Dreaming runs through July 11, 2010.

About 4500 people attended the Green Scene this year, hosted at the Cal State Fullerton Arboretum. According to Collections Curator Chris Barnhill, the event was “a big success.”
